Description
Test and diagnose VanMoof S3/X3 e-shifters without installing them on a bike.
The E-Shifter Tester lets you test all four gears and calibrate the shifter from any position. Simply connect your e-shifter, power the tester via USB-C and select the gear you want to test.
The white number shows the requested gear, while the blue indicator shows the current gear reported by the e-shifter. No blue indication means the e-shifter is not communicating, which can cause Error 44.
Use the calibration button to set the shifter position to first gear. Some e-shifters will automatically move to the correct position during calibration.
If the e-shifter does not respond to the gear buttons, it has a fault that requires further diagnosis.
Power the tester with a USB-C cable and a 5V USB power supply or power bank (not included).
